Private Property and Land Acquisition
Creating a park takes time. In the initial phases the park will own limited acreage to allow access to the Creek and proposed bridge. In addition we will rely on easements through private property. These will allow hikers to walk through the deep woods and not worry about trespassing. As time goes by, family and neighbors may add to the project by turning their land over to the park or one of the municipalities for the purpose of preserving open space. The Wawa Mountain Foundation will support the park by purchasing adjacent lands when they become available..
